What we do

Every programme. One job.

Each breaks the chain at a different point. Together, they make the child's voice a required field — in the home, in the meeting, in the software, in the law, and on a card the family carries into every room.

01

The Family Advocacy Alliance

Equip families

The community that makes FADA a movement rather than a service — peer knowledge, shared casework patterns, and the plain confidence of not being alone.

Who it serves

Any family raising or supporting a disabled child or adult in the UK — a week into diagnosis or five years into a tribunal, both welcome.

How it works

Free sign-up. A moderated, private space — not an open Facebook group — and a monthly gathering that rotates between casework, a practitioner Q&A, and a campaign update.

When it launches

First to launch — the lowest-infrastructure, fastest-to-build programme.

02

Casework support

Support the acute

A first-contact service for families in a live crisis — EHCPs, annual reviews, tribunal appeals, ombudsman complaints, and data-protection disputes.

Who it serves

Families in the network with an acute, live casework problem — triaged honestly, never over-promised.

How it works

A structured intake built on the same principle we preach: ask the family, ask the child. Then refer to the specialists, handle the moderate cases ourselves, or point to the fuller tools.

When it launches

Two to three months in — only once advisors are recruited, trained, insured, and checked. Never before.

03

The Practitioners' Programme

Train professionals

Training for SENCos, local-authority officers, and clinicians — the right to be heard, turned into practice a professional can use on a Monday morning.

Who it serves

The professionals on the other side of the table — sold in bulk to local authorities, trusts, and NHS settings.

How it works

A curriculum covering what Article 12 actually requires in practice, how to run a meeting that includes the child by design, and how to recognise the four failure machines from the inside.

When it launches

Four to six months — this needs its curriculum built properly, not rushed to a launch date.

04

The National Voice

Change the law

One focused campaign a year on a single systemic reform. This year: The Right to Be Asked.

Who it serves

Every family in the network, indirectly — by targeting the system rather than any one case.

How it works

One year, one specific and achievable ask. Not “fix SEND”, but a procedural change a minister or select committee could actually adopt — built on real, consented evidence.

When it launches

Timed to the launch — once the movement is large enough to make “we speak for many families” a true claim.

05Coming Q2 2027

The FADA Advocacy Card

Carry the voice

The card that carries a child's captured voice into every professional interaction — proof of voice, not proof of disability. The everyday instrument of everything FADA stands for.

Who it serves

Every FADA family: free digitally, with an optional physical card. Offered to any professional the family meets, in the spirit of partnership.

How it works

The family captures the child's voice, gets the card, and shows it in the room. A QR code opens the child's voice profile, and the family logs each interaction into a record they own.

When it launches

Coming with FADA's independent charity launch — Q2 2027. Join the waitlist now.

06

Ecosystem stewardship

Hold the lines

FADA connects the tools, the training, and the book — but owns none of them, and says so. This programme is a discipline, not a build.

Who it serves

The whole picture's honesty — so no funder, journalist, or family mistakes what we recommend for what we own.

How it works

A clear, published map of who owns what. Arm's-length licences and agreements, never quiet control. We are the connective tissue, not the landlord.

When it launches

Live from day one of any public presence.

The first thing you’ll experience is the community.

Family membership is free, and it always will be. Join now and be part of the founding cohort.
